Purchase license
Understanding the limits
Full use requires online verification first. After the latest successful verification, full offline use is available for 180 days while the license remains valid. Without a valid license, each track is limited to its first 30 seconds. Refreshing the offline period is not another payment; if your existing entitlement remains valid, you only need to verify it again.
Why verification is needed
License verification helps reduce unauthorized distribution while retaining local playback and extended offline use for purchasers. It does not require a constant connection, nor does it promise permanent offline use.
No separate DIG account is required. Google Play verifies your eligibility; DIG keeps the verification record locally and does not upload your music for license verification.
Getting started
For full use the first time, connect to the Internet and verify with the Google account that purchased or acquired DIG through Google Play.
When first upgrading to a version with license verification, you also need an online check if no valid local license record exists. Time spent using an older version does not mean your offline license has expired.
When the 180 days begin
The offline period is 180 × 24 hours from the most recent successful verification, not from purchase or installation. Normally restarting the app or device does not reset this period.
For example, if another verification succeeds on day 100, a new 180-day period starts at that moment. You do not have to use up the remaining days first. Refreshing the period confirms an existing entitlement; it is not a new purchase every 180 days.
Offline use and updates
A valid local license does not require a constant Internet connection. DIG attempts to update it in the background when the app opens and connectivity returns. Only a new, trustworthy successful result starts a new 180-day period; reading an old record again does not extend it.
Being offline, a timeout, Google Play being temporarily unavailable, an unrecognized version or a result that cannot be verified neither revokes a still-valid local license nor extends its period. Once that period has ended, a temporary verification failure does not keep it valid.
When playback becomes a 30-second preview
There are three distinct cases: verification has never succeeded, 180 days have passed since the latest successful verification, or Google Play returns a trustworthy, explicit no-license result. The first two require an online check to obtain a valid license; the third can end the remaining period before all 180 days have passed. A temporary verification failure does not mean you lack purchase eligibility.
This page does not query or determine your purchase status. If the app explicitly reports no license, check the Google Play account that purchased or acquired DIG, or contact support.
If the license becomes invalid during playback, the current track may finish naturally at normal speed, but shuttle and seeking are disabled immediately. Playing after pause or stop, switching tracks or manually starting the next track uses only the first 30 seconds of the original. A preview stops at 30 seconds or the natural end of a shorter track, without automatic next-track playback or looping. Playing it again manually is still limited to the first 30 seconds. A track already playing in full cannot be extended by looping either: after the license becomes invalid, playback stops when that track ends.
Restoring full use
Connect to the Internet and verify again with the Google Play account that acquired DIG. Successful verification restores full use without automatically starting playback. License restrictions or verification itself do not delete music, folder permissions, presets or settings.
Reinstalling the app, clearing its data or an irregularity such as setting the device clock back may require verification again. This does not mean another purchase is required; if your existing entitlement remains valid, simply verify it again. If verification still fails, check the connection and Google Play or contact support using the email addresses below.
